One of the most infamous sport "kusoge" (crap game), released in 88 for an old computer, is suddenly relevant again when a weird rumor appears on the internet.
According to the rumor a rare cartridge of the game has been found in the black market, containing a different version of the game with a bizarre story. Is the story true or just a publicity stunt by the game developers?

the pact star player made with the devil was the classic "get good at soccer in exchange of his soul", in the true ending of the story the protagonist (you) makes another pact, his soul in change of going back in time and save star player from getting good at soccer

Assistant was Satan. The coach killed himself because of the Talent Scout abuses. Lol everytime I come back to this game I'm amazed how cruel I was in depicting the sport world!

If I remember correctly, in the ending in which Star Player kills himself, he suggests that the Talent Scout sexually abused the Coach when he was young

Horror is not usually my "go-to" genre for games, however I hold Wandering artist in high regard as he's so professional in audio composition.
* Story, writing - just the right amount of angst and unease.
* Music - Wandering Artist is an amazing artist as music composer. He's so professional, delivering quality music composition at a fast pace. The main menu theme music for Haunted Club Manager 88 it totally 80s retro with drums/80s synthesized sound, electric guitar, slap bass, sax, brass. It was also clever to re-use this main menu theme and add the destructive effects are added to create uneasiness. Very clever and bravo!

Ha ha ha ha! Thought you might like that. Originally, I considered Soccer Wolves (Lupi di calcio) as was trying to find Italian animal names that could be an "animal" reference for a soccer team name, which an animal that's near and dear to Italy as a country. But then horse images and videos were throughout the game, so decided on Soccer Horses (Cavalli da calcio) instead :) as this is more consistent with your story and animal theme. Awesome game, Wander! Well done!
