Strange objects are falling from the sky and breaking the windows of a small town. It's time to repair them! Get into your van and go around town, fixing stuff and learning about the universe(s)!

A small game/prototype made in three days for Bitsy Jam #73.

For this game I just went with the flow. The only thing planned was for it to have a world map and a sidequest (this time in the form of collectibles). The "point and click" mode used for examining things and talking to NPCs, was born almost by mistake when I realized that the grid I've been using on Aseprite was wrong and all the backgrounds I've made were out of proportion with the avatar, so I just turned the player into an arrow lol.

For some reason I've wanted to recreate the atmosphere of the 1994's Super Mario Bros movie, just the first part (no gritty dystopia here), when Mario and Luigi go around Brooklyn carefree, as plumbers; this is reflected in the music too, which takes inspiration from the soundtrack of that movie.

In the end I think it was good for game making/art practice: this is the first time I try to draw in this perspective and I also enjoy a little bit of pixel typography, drawing letters and all kinds of scribbles is fun. Sadly I couldn't draw all the interiors I've wanted to make, maybe someday I'll go back to it. I hope you enjoy the game!

I love the atmosphere of this! It's so distinctive.

Really cool how you did the point and click effect!

thanks! :3

really excellent! i think it could probably use an end scree or loop back to the start, especially since it's so open for a bitsy i was a bit confused, i don't think i missed anything after getting the little scene from the 5 fragments?

thank you! Yes, you watched everything, and yes you're right, I should put an end screen or some indicator that tells you if you still have things to do/see.

This is so fun and whimsical. I loved going around, collecting fragment and bits of world information along the way. Your stuff never fails to be amazing, from the vibes to the art to the worlds to the music!

Thaanks! I'm glad you liked it!

You've mastered in some way how to say a lot of things with a minimal expression. Truly inspiring

Thank you so much for your support! I think the super tiny dialog box helped me a lot with that

this is such a wonderful game! The music is incredible, so calming and pretty. The pixel art is so cool, I love how you switch between perspectives and they all look great :) The deer story was so well written, really cool

thank youu! lol that story is straight from super mario movie and I dream I had, I'm glad you liked it

I love this! The art is sooo nice to look at and reading and collecting everything was fun. The idea of a repair-person learning about alternate universes is such a cute idea! Love love love this!

thank you ! <3

I'm always glad to see a new work from you. I think you have something here, and I hope it gets expanded. Even as a prototype, I think it's a perfect bitsy title. The music complements the aesthetic very well.

aaa thank you! I'll try to finish the other interiors when I have some free time, I'm glad you liked the music too!

The music for this game is so clam and soothing, it conveys a feeling of nostalgia that I long for, the story was really adorable and put a smile on my face!

I always enjoy the little details that Wander puts in these games, they make them come to life for me.
